Pectin
GENU Pectin, GENU Explorer, and SLENDID Food Grades - Description
GENU® Pectins are polysaccharides derived from structural components of fruits and vegetables, often citrus fruits or sugar beets. GENU® Pectin is first and foremost a gelling agent, used to impart a uniform gelled texture to products such as jams, jellies and marmalades. Pectin is also used for protein protection in beverages, mouthfeel enhancement in fruit flavoured drinks and stabilization in a variety of other food and beverage products.
