An advantage of TEGOPAC Bond 150 is its stability in hot and cold water immersion tests. Common silane-modified polymers (SMP) based products tend to have a bigger loss in strength when exposed to hot or cold water. Due to the lateral silane modification, TEGOPAC Bond 150 shows an improved stability in hot and cold water tests. In comparison to common SMP products, formulations with TEGOPAC Bond 150 show less reduction of tensile strength after water immersion.
