On June 21, L.V. Lomas was awarded with the 2017 Employee Recommended Workplace Award by the Globe & Mail in the mid-size employer category. The award recognizes organizations that prioritize employee health and well-being. To be considered, employees complete a confidential survey that asks questions about their physical and mental health, along with their work and home life.
“Our total score indicated we are in fact providing a healthy workplace environment, one in which our employees are positively impacted by our focus on the well-being of our people and their families. Research shows that healthy employees are more engaged and productive, which translates into better performance and service to our customers and principals. The Employee Recommended Workplace Award recognizes excellence in this area and we are proud to be acknowledged as a leader in our category,” said Kevin Russell, President of L.V. Lomas.
This is the first year of the award developed by Morneau Sheppell and The Globe and Mail.
