SYLVARES TP 2040

SYLVARES TP 2040 is a thermoplastic terpene phenolic resin designed for tackifying hot melt adhesives to provide superior adhesion and thermal-stability properties. It is soluble in aromatic solvents like toluene and esters/ketones like ethylacetate and acetone but insoluble in aliphatic solvents like hexane. SYLVARES TP 2040 is compatible with EVA, some acrylics and some polyurethanes. It delivers high glass transition temperature of 71°C and low viscosity making it suitable for applications requiring toughness, flexibility and durability even under extreme thermal conditions. SYLVARES TP 2040's unique properties help formulate durable, flexible and weather resistant adhesives for construction and assembly applications.
