DYNASYLAN SILBOND 40

DYNASLYAN SILBOND 40 is a clear, low-viscosity liquid with a minimum silica content of 40.0% (the Si content of DYNASYLAN SILBOND 40 is calculated as SiO2). It is an ethyl polysilicate that is the partially hydrolyzed product of tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS). DYNASYLAN SILBOND 40 is often used as an intermediate, which is further hydrolyzed to produce a binder that can be used for many applications. It provides excellent adhesion, durability and weather resistance. As a binder, DYNASYLAN SILBOND 40 improves the mechanical properties, thermal stability and chemical resistance of coatings. It forms a protective silica layer on substrates improving longevity.
