It delivers excellent rust and corrosion protection, solubility over a wide range of base stocks and thermal stability and resistance to sludging. It also offers light colour, performance durability, superior demulsibility characteristics and protection against wear. LUBRIZOL® 5056 is recommended for applications requiring protection against oxidation, corrosion and thermal degradation under heavy loads at high temperatures.
