POLYMER VS 200

POLYMER VS 200 is a vinyl-functional polydimethyl siloxane polymer with a viscosity of 200 mPas and vinyl content of 0.25 mmol/g. It is used as a base polymer in addition-cross-linking silicone formulations. POLYMER VS 200 cures by a platinum-catalyzed addition reaction with silicone cross-linkers containing SiH groups. Due to the low content of volatile constituents and the crosslinking mechanism, the curing shrinkage remains low and no volatile or corrosive substances are formed while curing. POLYMER VS 200 can be used for a wide range of applications in the advanced materials industry by selecting the suitable cross-linkers, catalysts, additives and fillers.
