ZETASPERSE 179 is a nonionic stabilizing surfactant and wetting agent designed to provide steric stabilization for the aqueous dispersion of pigments and particles. As a high-HLB surfactant, ZETASPERSE 179 can provide performance benefits in the aqueous dispersion of organic, carbon black, and inorganic pigments as well as fillers and functional solid chemicals. It is most effective when used as a secondary dispersant in conjunction with anionic polymeric dispersants and grind resins, ZETASPERSE 179 can provide significant wetting, milling, and steric stabilization benefits, often improving milling efficiency, color development, and dispersion stability to enable formulators to achieve higher performance. ZETASPERSE 179 offers benefits like improved dispersion stability, lower dispersion viscosities allowing higher pigment loadings, increased dispersant efficiency—lower cost-in-use, enhanced letdown compatibility and color acceptance, and it contains no added APEs or solvents.
