ANCAMIDE 2137

ANCAMIDE 2137 is an amidoamine curing agent designed for use with liquid epoxy resins in the formulation of high-solids, low-VOC coatings. It has a much lower viscosity and a markedly faster thin film set time compared to other products of this type. Gel time is also much shorter. It offers resistance to blush and exudation for advanced material coatings. It provides excellent flexibility and impact resistance for advanced material coatings. It allows for noncritical loading of between 70-100 phr, including 1:1 by volume with standard liquid epoxy resins. This improves chemical resistance at 70 phr loading, whereas at 100 phr, flexibility and impact resistance are increased for advanced material coatings. It is suitable for use in primers for steel and concrete, adhesives, putties, sealants and flexible cable joint compounds used in advanced material applications. It also works well for high-solids coatings used in maintenance and marine applications related to advanced materials.
