AIRASE 5500

AIRASE 5500 is a formulated siloxane-based defoamer developed for use in a wide range of water-based applications including in Advanced Materials industry. AIRASE 5500 was found to contribute no VOCs under EPA Method 24 testing conditions when evaluated at 0.5 wt.% in a zero-VOC coating formulation, making it an environment-friendly product for Advanced Materials manufacturing processes. As a low odor, low viscosity and easy-to-handle liquid, AIRASE 5500 provides effective balance of good defoaming with film compatibility. It also offers improved pH stability compared to traditional siloxanes and contains no added APEs or HAPs. AIRASE 5500 can be incorporated in the grind or used as a let-down defoamer, and is designed for applications in Advanced Materials industry where good defoaming is required with good long-term persistency and film compatibility.
