SILTEX 44

SILTEX 44 is an ultra-high-performance extender pigment and filler, Calcined aluminum silicate. This high-purity product is produced by melting selected glass sands at extremely high temperatures. The resulting amorphous product is then cooled, ground, and classified. The unique amorphous nature of the resulting product imparts improved optical, thermal, and physical properties to systems that can not be obtained from naturally occurring crystalline or amorphous silicas.
