KLEAROL 7.5

KLEAROL® 7.5 is a highly refined, pharmaceutical-grade Light Mineral Oil. Physically, it is a completely odourless liquid with a Specific Gravity of 0.833/0.844 at 15°C/15°C, low Kinematic Viscosity of 7.0/8.0 mm²/s at 40°C, a Flash Point of 150°C Min., and a Refractive Index of 1.455/1.462 at 20°C. It complies with strict international pharmacopoeia standards (NF, EuP, and BP), passing strict limits for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Acting as an inert lubricant and emollient that holds in moisture, it is primarily used in topical dosage forms like baby oils, medicated creams, lotions, and ointments, as well as an encapsulation base in some liquid oral formulations like antibiotics.
