NYAD M 100

NYAD M100 is a high purity coarse wollastonite recommended for ceramic bodies and glazes. The process to manufacture this grade ensures very precise chemistry control and consistency of calcium silicate (CaSiO2) appreciated in ceramic applications. The high purity combined with low loss on ignition (LOI) enables glaze formation with reduced defects, improved thermal stability and lower coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) while maintaining high fired brightness. The acicular shape adds reinforcing benefits to green bodies such as tiles and sanitaryware prior to firing. NYAD M100 is suitable for advanced material applications due to its high purity, consistency and reinforcing properties. It can be used to develop advanced ceramics with improved thermal stability, lower coefficient of thermal expansion and reduced defects.
