TROYCHEM MANGANESE 6WD is a water-dispersible manganese drier containing 6% manganese. As a manganese drier, TROYCHEM MANGANESE 6WD acts as an oxidation catalyst and surface drier in auto-oxidative drying systems. It possesses some through drying activity and can be combined with auxiliary driers for improved performance. Compared to cobalt driers, TROYCHEM MANGANESE 6WD is less affected by lower temperatures, making it suitable for applications where drying needs to occur at cooler conditions. Its use in water-reducible systems allows for easy incorporation and uniform dispersion. TROYCHEM MANGANESE 6WD can replace cobalt driers and provides drying capability with usage levels between 0.02% to 0.10% manganese metal calculated on resin solids. Suitable for end-use applications requiring controlled, even drying at varying temperatures.
