TROYMAX CALCIUM 10 NA is a calcium carboxylate of mixed synthetic organic acids stabilized in a mineral spirits solvent. It functions as a pigment wetting agent to improve the fineness of grind, thus helping to improve hardness and durability. TROYMAX CALCIUM 10 NA also minimizes loss of dryness when ground with pigments and fillers. It improves the action of other driers and is often used in conjunction with them. TROYMAX CALCIUM 10 NA assists in the through drying of air-initiated auto-oxidative systems. It works synergistically with zinc products to provide heat stability. TROYMAX CALCIUM 10 NA is typically used at 0.02% to 0.3% of calcium metal based on resin solids. It is suitable for applications requiring improved hardness, durability and loss of dryness inhibition.
