CARBOTHANE AC-4095A is a medical grade polycarbonate-based aromatic Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) that exhibits excellent oxidative stability and provides superior mechanical performance and chemical resistance properties. CARBOTHANE AC-4095A TPU has a durometer of 95A, specific gravity of 1.21, ultimate tensile strength of 10,000 psi and elongation at break of 370%. It has high flexural modulus of 10,800 psi and Vicat softening temperature of 124°C making it suitable for applications requiring high heat resistance. CARBOTHANE AC-4095A TPU's excellent mechanical properties and chemical resistance makes it well-suited for use in medical devices and components for the Advanced Materials industry where durability, biocompatibility and reliability are key requirements . Due to their good oxidative and biocompatible properties CARBOTHANE grades are suitable for long-term implants.
