METHOCEL A4M FOOD GRADE is a modified cellulose food grade product used in the food industry. METHOCEL A4M FOOD GRADE provides viscosity and texture control benefits for food applications. It helps improve mouthfeel and texture without altering the taste of food products. METHOCEL A4M FOOD GRADE meets all requirements outlined in 21 CFR 182.1480, the FCC for methylcellulose, and the purity criteria set forth by the EU and the Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA) and is GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) by the U.S. FDA.
