AERODISP WR 8520

AERODISP WR 8520 is a special, structured, highly filled aqueous dispersion of hydrophobic fumed silica. It contains 19-21% silica and has a mean aggregate size (d-50 value) of around 1 μm. AERODISP WR 8520 can be used as a rheology control and anti-settling agent in water-based formulations. As a pigment stabilizer and thickening agent, AERODISP WR 8520 improves the mechanical properties and shelf life of water-based products. It can be added at 5-10% to formulations for applications such as coatings and sealants where it enhances viscosity control, prevents pigment settling and flocculation, and improves the overall performance of the final product.
