AIRASE 5200

AIRASE 5200 is a formulated siloxane-based defoamer developed for use in a wide range of water-based applications. It is designed for applications where strong defoaming is required and the formulations are not particularly sensitive to cratering. AIRASE 5200 offers very strong defoaming with good shear stability and long term, persistent defoaming. It provides improved pH stability compared to traditional siloxanes or alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEs). AIRASE 5200 was found to contribute no VOC under EPA Method 24 testing conditions when evaluated at 0.5 wt.% in a zero-VOC coating formulation. AIRASE 5200 is suitable for use in applications involving advanced materials where strong defoaming is required without compromising on other performance aspects.
